SPECIAL ADJOURNMENT

Senator E. D. MILLEN (New South

Wales - Minister for Repatriation) [3.2].- I move-

That the Senate, at its rising, adjourn until 3 p.m. on Wednesday next.

Honorable senators may anticipate that I propose to follow this motion with a motion for the immediate adjournment of the Senate. In view of the condition of our business-paper and the prospects in another branch of the Legislature, I assume that it will better meet the convenience of honorable senators if, instead of adjourning until to-morrow, we adjourn to the usual time on Wednesday next.

Question resolved in the affirmative.
